Conclusions
This internship has been very rewarding. I have learned and improved various skills, especially public speaking, something that I have not been able to do in the class environment. Also, I have been given such liberties to expand my creativity within my activities. Since every event is different, depending on the environment, I have learned to adjust to every occasion, in addition to coming up with new and fun ideas for contest at some of our club appearances. I have learned the secrets of the trade during this internship, and I have been very successful.
Recommendations
I would recommend to anyone to take an internship with a BBGI station, regardless of department; for two reasons, you will evolve as an individual in the media, and grasp additional knowledge to what truly goes in to coordinating events and being an on air talent. I believe that working for a radio station you are exposed to diversity within the media, not only do you use your public relations skills, but you will also use your journalistic skills when updating the website, for example, and your production skills when assisting in setting up equipment. Therefore, I recommend a radio as an exemplary place to take an internship in; it is a learning experience as well as entertaining.
