Introduction
The following is my report analysis of my performance during the internship with Beasley Broadcast Group Inc. radio stations’ Power 96 and Kiss Country. This report consists of a description of the agency, the activities and duties assigned to me during the events and live broadcasting, the supervision received and the relationship between my work experience and formal course work; in which has all let me experiment with my creativity in and out of the classroom and office environment.
I had originally applied for Beasley's Power 96, because I wanted to work closely with the Hispanic youth of South Florida, in addition to having a love for event planning and entertainment. Within the time that I was hired, Power 96 was moving into a bigger studio and joining their sister stations, Kiss Country and WQAM. When I began to work with Power, I was then told that I will also assist Kiss Country with their events. Which was the best thing that could have happened, since two weeks into my internship they no longer wanted me in the office, instead they wanted me to concentrate strictly on events. This giving me a broader insight to the radio world and its activities within the various communities that the sister stations targeted.
